The only things that are certain in life are death, taxes, and that elite officials have little to no respect for the wishes of the American voters who put them in positions of power.
This has led to blue city officials ignoring their voters' wishes on issues like illegal immigration, housing, and benefits, as well as on the issues of crime. Those voters are in turn switching to Republicans.
Political analyst and Newsmax contributor Jeffrey Lord told KTRH that the Trump campaign is now zeroing in on areas that Republicans have not been able to win previously. Areas like New York City, where he will be forced to campaign exclusively for the next several weeks thanks to his ongoing hush money trial.
Surprisingly, Donald Trump has been met with an increase of support among the working class of New York. He has spent his time in the city with construction workers, bodega employees, and the families of fallen NYPD officers.
This stands in stark contrast with President Joe Biden, who spends his time in the Big Apple at celebrity fundraisers with the other Democratic elites.
Lord says the "Let Them Eat Cake" attitude of blue city Democrats has led to voters who are tired of watching their cities be destroyed turning away from the same old, same old of the Democratic Party and putting cities like New York and Chicago in play for Trump.
