Houston saw more violent crime this weekend.
Five people were injured early Sunday morning shooting at a southeast Houston nightclub. Two of the victims are in critical condition but expected to survive. Cops are looking for the shooter.
This followed a violent Friday night/Saturday morning. A pregnant woman was killed and four people were injured after a shooting in south Houston during a birthday party at a park. Two people are in custody. Thirty six shots were fired in this incident.
Elsewhere a security guard working at an apartment complex in Spring Branch was shot and killed. There is a man in custody.
All told there were at least three shootings in the city on Friday night, with two people killed.
Including this morning's shooting Houston had four shootings; two people were killed at least ten others were injured. This is all following four gun buyback events in the Houston/Harris County area over the last year.
