The Home Depot hopes to hire 4,665 people in the Houston area to fill flexible, full-time and part-time positions ahead of an expected busy spring home-improvement season.
Openings include slots in customer service, sales, support, freight, merchandising and warehouses. The company, which usually increases hiring each spring, also says it provides training in software development, cyber security, data science, marketing, supply chain and finance to help employees advance to more substantian positions. The company says more than 90 percent of its managers started as store associates.
