Jan. 6 Panel Floats 14th Amendment As Way To Bar Trump From Holding Office

What do you do when you have a failing president, trying to push a failed agenda? Go after Trump!

That is exactly what the Democrats are doing with their partisan January 6 committee. Led by Maryland (D) congressman Jamie Raskin, they are now looking into the 14th Amendment as a means to block Trump from running for office again.

"Jamie Raskin is your typical, woke progressive" said Terry Schilling, president of the American Principles project, "They're running out of options, they hate the American people, and they don't want you to be able to participate in this great country."

Just in case you are wondering? The 14th Amendment prevents those "engaged in insurrection or rebellion" from holding office.

"The 14th Amendment was meant to keep people from the south returning to power, and then starting the whole thing over again" Schilling told KTRH, "Most obvious to every American is that Donald Trump did not incite an insurrection. What happened on January 6th last year was not an insurrection, it was a protest that got out of control. The whole January 5 commission needs to be disbanded."

Which will likely happen in November. The January 6 committee is scheduled to meet again in the spring.
