The Texas Land Office May Have Some Explaining to Do!

Almost four years ago, the U. S. Federal Government approved $4.3 billion in Hurricane Harvey relief funds. It seems almost half of the funds are still hung up in the system.

Now, a news release from the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) says the Texas General Land Office failed to provide paperwork detailing how the money would be spent to help people and communities recover from the natural disaster that was Hurricane Harvey... HUD is stopping $1.95 billion in money appropriated by Congress.

They say the state of Texas has 45 days to provide the information.
