The average gas price in Texas is on the rise again.
Triple-A Texas says drivers are paying two-80 for a gallon of regular unleaded, up five cents from this time last week.
It's also the highest average gas price for Independence Day Weekend since 2014.
Triple-A Texas cites higher demand and global market optimism on oil as reasons for the jump.
