This is Why Houstonians Don't Stay Home on Vacation

A new study ranks U.S. cities, including Houston, as staycation sites.

The pandemic is letting up and people are traveling again, but many people still aren't ready to get out.

WalletHub compared 182 cities across 46 key metrics to find out how much fun their residents can have by staying in town.

Houston ranks 39th overall, coming in 55th in recreation, 13th in food and entertainment, and 141st in rest and relaxation.

The city beats out San Antonio, Dallas, and Fort Worth in nearly every category, but not Austin, ranked 19th overall.
