Texas and 20 States Sue Biden Over Keystone XL Pipeline

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen filed suit in a Texas federal district court yesterday, claiming President Biden over-stepped his authority when he revoked the permit, saying only Congress can regulate international commerce. The 12-hundred mile pipeline was to run from Alberta, Canada to Nebraska where it connects with other pipelines that feed into the Texas gulf Coast.

Nineteen other Republican-led states have joined the suit, claiming the pipeline would have boosted the economy, even in states it didn't pass through.

Democratic Senators Joe Manchin of West Virginia and John Tester of Montana are also pushing Biden to allow pipeline construction to resume.
