The mainstream media hasn't given you much to trust, and your lack of trust shows.
Gallup's annual poll on the media shows that 33% of you have no trust at all in the mainstream media. That does not come as a surprise to political strategist Ryan Cassin.
"The media has gotten so much wrong that this is no surprise to me," Cassin said.
This is much different than it used to be. Back in the 70's trust in the media was anywhere from 68% to 72%. So, can we ever get back to that point?
"I don't think there's any getting back that point. The American people have appropriate skepticism," Cassin stated.
Republican trust in the media is at just 10%. But a full 73 percent of Democrats said they trust what the mainstream media puts out there.
