Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo’s face mask-mandate goes into effect Monday (4-27-2020). The mandate says that you are required to cover your face at all times except when eating, exercising or drinking. Nothing fancy - you can make your own mask out of a scarf, bandanna or even a cloth napkin if it's big enough.
HEB is taking this seriously and beginning Monday, a mask must be worn by every HEB shopper under 11 years old that comes into one of their Harris County supermarkets. HEB officials say their staffs will be masked as well.
