A 67 year old Houston man, whom his adult children said verbally and physically abused themselves and their mother, says his was sleepwalking when he murdered his wife, shooting her 6 times. Raymond Gene Lazarine was sentenced to 75 years in prison for her death, according to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
The adult children testified that their father was often drunk and abusive during their childhood. The most moving statement they made was that they were still afraid of him and will worry that he will kill them if he were ever released.
