Houston firefighters use chainsaw to free driver in deadly crash

Police are looking into a deadly crash in northeast Houston, one that forced cops to use a chainsaw to rescue one of the drivers.

According to law enforcement, the drivers of a pickup truck and a gray Nissan were going the same way when they collided on Kenswick Drive near Humble Westfield. The truck slammed into a large tree and firefighters had to cut the driver out.

It appears as if the driver was impaled by the tree. He was taken by Life Flight to the hospital where he later died. The driver of the Nissan wasn't hurt.
