Houston gas prices go down as temperatures rise

By now, drivers around Houston are normally well into paying summer prices for gas. But this summer has been different.

Gas prices have gone down. And they keep going down. Daniel Armbruster with AAA Texas says prices dropped six cents to $2.43 a gallon.

“Supplies are keeping pace with demand. Regionally, stocks for gas are at the highest point they’ve ever been for early June,” Armbruster said.

Armbruster says that at this point last year, we were paying 29 cents more per gallon of gas, which comes out to a price of $2.72 a gallon.
