A local Papa John's pizza delivery driver is dead after being shot overnight. He had just delivered a pizza and was headed back to his car around 9:30 p.m. Thursday night when he was killed on scene.
It happened in the 21000 block of Inverness Forest near FM 1960.
Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and found the 45-year-old shooting victim lying in the parking lot.
Police say the folks who ordered the pizza aren't considered suspects.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office is trying to determine the motive for the killing.
Authorities are also trying to see if surveillance cameras captured the shooting on video.
No one is in custody.
