Teen Speed Victim Loved Fast Cars

Those who knew and loved Henry Davis are struggling this weekend with his loss.

Friends of the teenager killed when his Mercedes flew over a highway overpass say he had a passion for fast-driving cars.

Houston police said Memorial High School junior Henry Davis died in the fiery crash Wednesday night.

Officials say he was a passenger in the car when the driver sped through a red light and over a concrete barrier on Post Oak, falling 20 feet to an I-10 on-ramp below.

The car burst into flames and trapped the two boys inside, killing Davis and leaving the driver in critical condition.

Friends told reporters with Click2Houston that the two were behind an Instagram account called Project Hypercar, where the most recent post appears to be a video taken from inside the car the night of the crash.
