First Black Female Pilot In National Guard Set To Deploy

(Houston County, GA) -- A pilot in the Georgia Air National Guard is making history this Black History Month. First Lieutenant Andrea Lewis is preparing to deploy with the 116th Air Control Wing as the Guard's first black female pilot. Aviation is in her blood, as her father served as a pilot in the Marines and her mother is a flight attendant. Lewis sets out later this month from Robins Air Force Base.
