Ted Cruz calls out democrat lawmakers antics

A democratic member of the Senate Judiciary Committee claims to flout senate rules. This comes after releasing so-called confidential emails from Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's time in the George W. Bush White House.

"Releasing it to expose... the emails being withheld from the public have nothing to do with national security," Kavanaugh said.

A spokesperson for the committee says the documents had already been cleared for release.  Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who is also on the Senate Judiciary Committee, stepped away from the hearing for a conversation with Michael Berry.  He hopes democrats will exercise more common sense on the floor than they are in committee.

Cruz said "when we get to the floor in a couple of weeks, I think its possible we pick up three or four democrats. But none from the Judiciary Committee democrats will vote 'yes'."

Cruz says Booker wanted some time in the spotlight because he wants to run for president in 2020.
