A group of lawyers in Texas are pushing to end the separation of families entering the United States Illegally. They say the current situation is President Trump’s fault. But what those lawyers and the mainstream media isn't telling you is this isn't new law that the President is acting on. It is old law he is enforcing.
“President Trump didn’t create this law. He inherited it,” David Ray with the Federation for American Immigration Reform told KTRH. “It’s based on some bad judicial decisions that came down during the Obama Administration.”
Ray also says that what is dangerous about what this group of lawyers is doing is that it could set precedent.
“We will create a situation whereby illegal immigrants can use children as a shield against our immigration laws,” Ray stated.
