Other Texas Metro Areas Growing Faster Than DFW

(Dallas, TX)  --  The DFW area isn't the fastest-growing metropolitan area in the state, in terms of percentage of population.  The U.S. Census Bureau says DFW grew just over 15 percent between 2010 and 2017.

The San Antonio-New Braunfels metro area grew at a rate of nearly 15-and-a-half percent in that same period.  Houston scored a growth rate of almost 16-and-a-half percent.

But Austin-Round Rock takes the prize with a growth rate of more than 23 percent, for the fastest growth in Texas and the U.S.
