Opening Night Jitters at the Rodeo

Country music superstar Garth Brooks joined more than 70,000 "Friends in Low Places" to kick off the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

"I couldn't be more stoked. It's Garth... I mean Garth is a legend; it's like seeing George Strait."

But some fans tell our TV Partner KPRC Channel-2 they had trouble getting into the stadium. Ticket takers had to resort to visually scanning tickets, because their digital scanners had trouble keeping up with the crowds.

But most of the fans say they still had a positive experience...

"...born and raised (in Houston); I've been coming out here since I was a little baby. My dad brought me out here every year."

"There are rodeos in different cities, and I've been to some all over the world; but nothing is like the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo."

Little Big Town is the next act to take to the rotating stage tonight. The Rodeo runs through March 18th.
