A woman is expected to be charged with child endangerment following a crash which left a child in the hospital.
Houston police say the woman did not put her son in a child seat or use a seat belt when she clipped a pickup last night on Highway 290 near 34th.
The 5-year-old was ejected from the car due to the impact. He's in stable condition at the hospital.
The woman hasn't been identified.
