Several thousand mourners joined Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton to remember a Dallas motorcycle officer who died in a wreck.
Sr. Cpl. Victor Lozada Tirado was killed Feb. 22 when his cycle crashed while escorting the presidential candidate's motorcade. Lozada was 49.
The funeral Friday at massive Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano included the playing of bagpipes. A flag-draped coffin was at the front of the church.
A police chorus opened the service by performing the whimsical song "Danny Boy," followed by "Let There Be Peace on Earth" and "You'll Never Walk Alone."
The crowd included numerous police officers in uniform. Dozens of police motorcycles were lined up outside the church.
