(Madeleine Morgenstern) -- Ron Paul on Sunday revealed his reasoning for staying in the GOP presidential race: He’s trying to “save the Republican Party from themselves.”
While the Texas congressman admitted the “conventional wisdom” is that Mitt Romney will be the party’s nominee, he said “the votes haven’t been counted“ and ”there‘s no way I’m going to give up on the effort to get the Republicans back to their roots.”
