ROGER HUDSON

Roger Hudson manages the KTRH newsroom and staff. In addition to picking the stories covered, he's also executive producer of Houston's Morning News. He is a graduate of the University of Alaska with 25 years in broadcasting.

Michael Berry is a multiple award-winner who has been a guest of or fill-in host for Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly and others. He has also been an attorney, real estate developer, and the mayor pro tem of Houston.

MATT PATRICK

Host []

Matt is in two radio halls of fame and brings 32 years of experience to KTRH. He has been heard on some of America's biggest talk stations, and often fills in for nationally syndicated hosts.

LOIS MELKONIAN

Morning Anchor []

Lois has been reporting and anchoring on radio and television for more than 30 years, with a career stretching from San Francisco to Denver to Houston! On KTRH, Lois covers everything local, national and international.

KRISTIN FLOWERS

Afternoon Editor/Reporter []

Kristen Flowers began her radio career doing traffic and news with KFI in Los Angeles. Next, she hosted a morning show in Colorado and was morning co-host of a program in Las Vegas before moving to Houston.

JOHN LABUS

Morning Editor []

John came to Houston in 2005 after nearly five years in Pennsylvania. He's also worked in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Atlanta. He's covered seven hurricanes and, at various times, has manned the KTRH anchor desk during every hour of the day.

COREY OLSON

Midday Anchor []

Corey is a West Coast native, born and raised in Seattle and a graduate of the University of Southern California. Prior to his arrival at KTRH, he spent 11 years in Las Vegas. Corey is an avid follower of sports, politics, and current events and a die-hard fan of his beloved USC Trojans.

AARON SMITH

Midday Anchor

Aaron Smith grew up in Houston and has been a news reporter in Tyler, Waco, Dallas, and Flint, Mich. He brings 12 years of broadcasting experience to his work at KTRH.

SCOTT CROWDER

Afternoon Anchor []

Scott Crowder is St. Louis native and has lived in Texas since 2002. Before KTRH, he was afternoon anchor at WBAP, Dallas-Fort Worth. He loves computers and technology, dogs and the NFL, although the Rams give him nothing but pain.

CASSIE HART

Evening Anchor []

Cassie Hart is an award-winning reporter who has worked from Minneapolis to Colorado Springs. Cassie reported on breaking events like the 2007 Interstate 35W bridge collapse and protestors at the Republican National Convention.

CHELLE FOX

Anchor []

Chelle has covered hard news, features, and entertainment stories across the nation for several networks. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling to explore new places and cultures.

JOE GOMEZ

Reporter []

Joe Gomez is a regular on the CBS and Fox Radio Networks. Since landing in Houston, Joe has gone undercover for KTRH into Juarez, Mexico, and traveled into the pirate-infested waters of Falcon Lake.

 


NIK RAJKOVIC

Reporter []

Nik is an award-winning journalist who joined the KTRH newsroom in August 2010 after a three-year stint at WSPD, Toledo. The native Detroiter also reported and anchored news at WSJM, Benton Harbor, Mich., and at WMIC in the Michigan "Thumb."

SAMANTHA JORDAN

Reporter []

Samantha is the online reporter and "Connected" editor. When she isn't scouring the Internet for videos and news, she might be found at a concert, taking an acting class, or visiting animals at the Humane Society.

MATT THOMAS

Sports []

Matt hosts the weeknight editions of the Astros pre- and post-game shows. He also hosts a daily program noon-3 p.m. on SportsTalk 790. Matt has been in sports media since 1991, working primarily in Houston with stops in Salt Lake City and Minneapolis/St. Paul.

DYLAN GWINN

Sports []

Dylan Gwinn, a contributor to KTRH, is the host of the daily "Mighty Gwinn" Show on SportsTalk 790.

CHAD NAKANISHI

Producer []

Chad, who has been with KTRH since 2006, is producer of the Michael Berry show. He grew up on the island of Hawaii, in the beautiful town of Hilo. He has a master's degree in journalism from Baylor University and did his undergraduate work at the University of Oregon.

BRIAN MCDONALD

Brian was born and raised in Houston where he lives with his wife, Rachel. As a lifelong, die-hard sports fan, his daily blog is his means of venting and discussing big news and events in the sports world.

JUSTIN KING

Justin is a native Houstonian who's been in radio since 2004. He joined KTRH in 2008 as a producer for Houston's Morning News. After a brief stint at The 9-5-0, he found his way back to KTRH in 2010 as studio producer for The Michael Berry Show.

ANDREW VERNON

Andrew joined the KTRH team in December 2010. He works with the Michael Berry Show and handles various Web duties for the program. Born in Houston, Andrew graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a degree in speech communication.

Zach is a native Houstonian. While almost everyone else is sleeping, Zach is at work, producing shows like Coast to Coast, The Wall Street Journal this Morning, and the Astros 10th Inning.

Terri is certified meteorologist who has been with The Weather Channel for more than a decade. She is also a wife and mother who dedicates some of her spare time to promoting music programs.

Mark is a certified meteorologist for The Weather Channel Radio and Broadband. He's a big fan of thunderstorms and good action movies.

PAT SHINN

Business Reports []

Pat Shinn is host of KTRH's "Money Matters," a show dedicated to individual investors. The program airs 5-7 p.m. Saturdays unless pre-empted by weekend sports coverage. He also provides market commentary on NewsRadio 740 weekdays at 12:05, 3:05, and 6:05 p.m.

Mike Salvatorelli is The Wall Street Journal's radio business reporter and editor. Following news stints at several stations in the New York City area, he landed at the Journal where he's been covering everything from business to lifestyle and health for nearly 20 years.

Kelly, a DJ for over 20 years, is also the midday host on 93.7 The Arrow. She has also managed operations, programming music, production, and engineering. She owns her own production company and hosts music shows on stations nationwide.

Darby is the weekday afternoon traffic anchor for News Radio 740 plus The 9-5-0, SportsTalk 790, 94.5 The Buzz, 93.7 The Arrow, Sunny 99.1, and five other Houston stations.

JOHN WESLEY DOWNEY

John Downey has driven Houston's crowded freeways his whole life. He began as a disc jockey in Galveston and has been a movie reviewer, talk show host, program director and newscaster. He began anchoring traffic reports in 1987 and joined KTRH's Total Traffic staff in 2002

Rachel Estrada, a native "Heightstonian," is also an award-winning photographer and videographer and an active member in the Houston film community.

A native Houstonian, Eric has worked in traffic for KTRH since 2007. His mom told him had the perfect face for radio. He believes that logic can get you from A to B ... imagination can take you everywhere else.

Roxanne Michelle is the morning traffic producer for KTRH. Prior to joining Total Traffic, Roxanne finished her studies at Alvin Community College for Radio/Television Broadcast Communications. It's been her life-long dream to work in radio.

Jeff got his start in radio in 1995 as a weekend producer/board operator at WWL, New Orleans. After Hurricane Katrina, he and his family moved to San Antonio where he joined Total Traffic as a mobile reporter.

Born and raised in Lafayette, La., David started spinning records on the radio at age 15 and has enjoyed a successful 25-year broadcasting career. His hobbies include flight simulation, rock history, and the history of his home town.

Prior to joining the traffic team, Brad was out in the field ... literally. As a remote engineer for Clear Channel Houston, he spent many hours at the KTRH transmitter site, out in the wilderness of Liberty County.
