Across the board, more new cars were sold last month than in any November in history – and the numbers could go up this month.
GM, up 14 percent, Chrysler 16 percent, Nissan almost 11 percent. Cars were flying off the lots. For instance, sales of the high-dollar Chevrolet Corvette more than doubled.
KTRH Car Pro Jerry Reynolds predicted it. He says these new cars are just better in many ways.
“No matter what you drive today, if you haven't bought a car in the last four or five years,” Reynolds explains, “you can buy the same car you're driving today and it will have dramatically-improved fuel economy.”
Reynolds says December is always the best month to go car-shopping.
“Dealers are pushing hard for their year-end numbers, manufacturers are pushing hard,” he says, “so, you get a whole industry that's pushing at one time, to try to meet their goals, and that's good for the consumer.”
