Paypal says someday soon you may not need a wallet -- you'll pay with your smart phone.
British consumers are the first to try Paypal's app that lets them pay using facial recognition for verification.
"Paypal's taking that first step into launching what's going to be new ways of payment."
Travel and tech guru Peter Shankman says it's no less secure than carrying cash in a wallet.
"Everyone always has the ability to get hacked, to get your stuff stolen -- the same way there's always been to lose your wallet."
Shankman says Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks are a couple of companies that already accept payment through apps and soon we'll all be able to lighten our pockets this way.
"This is just the next step with Google Wallet and things like that. You know it's not that far off; a few years down the line we won't have to carry our wallets anymore."
