A Tennessee man says his addiction to online porn ruined his marriage and he blames Apple for tempting him with its computers. In addition to money, he wants Apple to equip all of its devices with a 'safe mode.'
But KTRH legal analyst Chris Tritico says it's a ridiculous lawsuit.
"This is a frivolous lawsuit and it should get dismissed. It's the same thing as people suing McDonald's because they're fat."
Tritico says no court will be sympathetic to the man's claims.
"Nothing is forcing that guy to turn his computer on and go to the porn web sites; Apple had nothing to do with it. Case over."
How does a lawsuit like this even get this far?
"It does have some sex appeal if you will, for lack of a better term, that the news media likes, so it's got something the news media is going to report. But that doesn't make it a good lawsuit."
The 36-year-old man says he became so addicted to porn videos his wife took his kids and left him.
