Charges have now been filed against a former Justice of the Peace in the murders of two Kaufman County District Attorneys.
Kaufman County Sheriff David Byrnes announced the charges of capital murder today for Eric and Kim Williams. They are charged with the deaths of Mark Hasse, Mike McLelland, and Cynthia McLelland. Kim Williams allegedly confessed to being the getaway driver and says that Eric Williams was the shooter off all three people.
Sheriff Byrnes says Eric Williams is being held on $23 million bond, and Kim Williams is being held on $10 million bond.
Multiple agencies collaborated together during the investgation that included the Kaufman County Sheriff's Department, the Texas Rangers, the Dallas division of the FBI, and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
