The Motion Picture Assocation of America is now using a new rating system for films. Each movie rating will now contain a more detailed description that tells you what kind of content you will find in the movie.
The MPAA says it is an educational tool to help parents when choosing which movie they want their kids to see. The movies will still have the G, PG, PG-13, and R ratings but they will be accompanied with descriptions on why the film recieved that rating.
Tom Stephenson with Look Cinemas says the new ratings shouldn't affect the business, but it will make people more aware and more comfortable about the movie you are taking your family to see.
