Deandre Devon Davis-Williams charged
An accused child sex abuser was in court today, the same day his victim gave birth.
Deandre Devon Davis-Williams is charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child and had his bail tripled today in court, to $150,000. Police say Davis-Williams abused an 11-year-old neighbor over a period of months. The abuse was discovered after the girl's teachers at school, suspected she was pregnant and told the girl's mother.
Police found text messages on the young girl's cell phone that they say led to the arrest of the 21-year-old Davis-Williams.
The young girl has reportedly given birth to her child, and both the young mother and the child are in healthy condition.
