Thieves caugh, bloodied in the act
Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies have arrested three men after they broke into a building in north Harris County overnight and tried to steal copper wire.
At about 11:30 p.m. Monday night, deputies responded to a building at 2222 W. FM 1960.
A CenterPoint employee had been at the location checking electrical boxes and power connections when he noticed they had been tampered with and heard noises coming from inside the building. When deputies arrived, they too heard noises coming from inside and moments later saw several suspects trying to flee. One of the suspects was arrested at the location. Two others fled on foot but were quickly apprehended.
The three men are identified as:
David Penate, 29 (above)
Dimas Alvarenga-Quintanilla, 27 (above)
Jeronimo Avelar-Dubon, 32 (above)
All three have been charged with evading arrest and burglary of a building.
