Many young people don’t use it or e-mail any more
The comparison is made to pen-and-paper letter writing of a few years ago. People wouldn’t have written a letter saying, “Hi, just wondered how you are? Write me back.”
Michael Matthews is managing director and founder of TheMobileCulture.com. He says messages like that should be sent by text or Twitter. Otherwise, you’re wasting somebody’s time for a message that means nothing.
The next form of communication to go? Matthews says it will be e-mail. He says, “I work with 95 kids. If I want to get in touch with them, I have to text or connect with them on Facebook.”
He says some of those young people don’t even have e-mail.
