15% Chief Information Officers say they plan to expand their IT teams
The numbers are very positive for people looking for work in the field in Houston. Robert Half International Vice President Steven Robinson says things are “trending in the right way.”
He says, “It’s continuing to be positive for job-lookers and there continues to be a talent void (for those seeking to fill positions).”
At least half of the Houston managers surveyed said they plan to fill positions already open in the next quarter. Jobs like help desk and PC technician are open. Filling those, a worker could advance to program manager.
“These are excellent jobs,” says Robinson.
