Some consider it a form of prostitution. A "dating" site is offering men a chance to bid on dates. In fact, one woman says she was paid $400 for a date. Experts say it's legal, even if it seems unethical.
Texas relationship expert Jennifer Styers says both sides of the transaction should be ashamed.
"How sad is that that you'd have to pay for a date? I mean, let's get past that first, right? And what kind of woman would you want to go out with that would accept money for a date with you?"
Styers says a woman that would sounds like a prostitute. But KTRH legal analyst Chris Tritico says it's legal.
"Prostitution is the offer of money in exchange for sex."
Tritico says as long as the web site makes it clear the money is only for the date, it's in the clear.
