Unmanned capsule docks with ISS

It wasn’t without its drama, but the Space-X Dragon Capsule docked early this morning with the International Space Station.

The unmanned capsule is carrying 1,200 pounds of equipment and supplies for the orbiting astronauts.

The Dragon was launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida on Friday, but suffered a temporary glitch with its thrusters.  Space-X officials say the issue appeared to be with a propellant valve.

The private company is contracted for 12 missions with NASA.  The current operation is the second delivery to the ISS; the first was in October.
