Drugs discovered in two Fort Bend County homes
Two marijuana growing operations are uncovered in the Mission Bend subdivision in Fort Bend County. Narcotics investigators say they started looking into activities around the two houses after noticing suspicious comings-and-goings.
One person was arrested; 35-year old Joseph Milton Rowland is being held on a 50-thousand dollar bond.
Members of the Narcotics task force say they found more than 200 pot plants, along with indoor growing equipment and assorted tools used to manufacture and package the marijuana for distribution. The confiscated drugs have an estimated street value of more than a million dollars.
