Webpage provides information about conclave to select new Pope
The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston launches a new webpage to provide people with information about the conclave to select a new Pope. Cardinal Daniel DiNardo is blogging from Rome.
His submissions will stop once the secret conclave gets underway. DiNardo was elevated to his current position by Pope Benedict the 16th, who DiNardo calls "one of the church's greatest thinkers and writers."
Benedict the 16th officially steps down today, the first pontiff in nearly 600 years to resign from the post.
