16-year old girl beaten, left in field in Cypress area
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children Unit is searchign for the person responsible for the sexual assault of a 16 year old female in 16600 block of Spring Cypress Road on February 5, of this year, in northwest Harris County.
The female victim told police she was walking westbound on Spring Cypress at around 11:00p.m. that night. That's when a man, described as a white male, 5’7 to 5’8, with a thin muscular build, wearing dark clothing, approached the victim from behind. He dragged the teen into a field nearby and sexually assaulted her. The man then struck the victim with a blunt object several times in the head and ran from the scene. The victim managed to walk to a business nearby and told witnesses to call 911.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find the person responsible. If anyone observed the victim walking along Spring Cypress Road and Barker Cypress Road between the hours of 10:15 and 11:45p.m. that Friday night, or has any information about the man in the sketch, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
