A company is trying to sell a device to protect you
Science doesn't support it, but a company hopes you'll be frightened enough to buy a device that protects you from your cell phone's radiation.
No, your cell phone can't kill you.
"There is no conclusive evidence at this point that there is any relationship between the development of brain cancers and cell phone use."
Dr. Arch Carson of the UT School of Public Health says there's certainly no need for protection from your phone.
"We do have enough evidence to show us that if the relationship does exist it's fairly minor."
The device's maker says it's worked on simulated brain cells -- but it hasn't been tested with real cells yet.
