Many users are taking a break from their "addiction"

Some Americans are growing tired of Facebook. A new study says 61% of users have taken a 'Facebook vacation' of several weeks or more.

Mike Matthews of themobileculture.com says Facebook has gotten too commercial.

"Facebook is being very friendly with brands, even more so than they ever really have and not as much for people."

Some parents worry about their children's accounts but social media expert Peter Shankman says that's overblown.

"If I had a child right now I'd be more worried about what they were doing on instant messenger programs like Kik and Whatsapp."

Shankman says Facebook is still too big to fail at this point and it's not in danger of going the way of Myspace.
