Police believe he was targeted.
Houston police trying to find the killer of a 35 year old Houston father who was gunned down when he answered the door of his Montrose-area home Friday evening. The man, whose brother in law is an HPD officer, was shot around 8pm in the 1800 block of Portsmouth during his kid's slumber party. He staggered into the living room in front of his family then collapsed on the floor. His wife called police who pronounced him dead at the scene. Authorities believe the man was targeted by his shooter.
