Texas’ largest Mardi Gras celebration that kicked off Friday in Galveston. This year’s celebration takes place Feb. 1-12 and is expected to draw in over 300,000 attendees. It will feature 38 concerts, 24 parades, 20 balcony parties and five elegant masked balls in the island’s downtown entertainment district. Among this weekend’s highlights, iheartradio Rocks the Block parade and balcony party along with platinum rock group Tonic headlining performances.
