Humble police say patients between 5YO & 12YO
At least 18 people were hurt when smoke filled a school bus on Thursday.
Atascocita volunteer firefighters said the incident happened in the 600 block of Charles Street in Humble about 8:25 a.m.
Humble police said transmission fluid on the Northwest Preparatory bus leaked onto the engine and caused heavy smoke.
The patients were taken to Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital. Their conditions have not been released, but hospital officials said some of the patients were between 5 and 12 years old.
