Found in a home in the Plano area
Earlier Friday morning police in Dallas arrested 22-year-old Trey Foster in a home in the Plano area. Foster is now believed to be the shooter in the Lone Star College shooting on Tuesday.
Foster has been returned to Harris County and has been charged with aggravated assault. Based on police interrogations of another alleged shooter Carlton Berry, police now believe Foster is the shooter.
Initially police thought Carlton Berry was the shooter and the wounds he received were accidental and self-inflicted. Jody neal, who was the other student shot, indentified Berry as the shooted at the scene while Berry was being moved in a stretcher into an ambulance. But now, Neal identified Foster as the shooter in a photo lineup.
The shooting is now believed to have stemmed from an argument between Neal and Foster who had apparently bumped into eachother earlier the morning of the shooting at Lone Star College's North Harris Campus.
