RVs offer savings for vacations
Taking a vacation has become a luxury for many during the down economy. But there is a way to save money and travel in comfort.
Recreational Vehicles, commonly referred to as RVs are getting more and more popular because they cost less and are less hassle than flying.
Diana LeBlanc with the Texas RV Association says RVs offer more of a disconnect than flying and staying in a hotel. Allowing people to feel like they are really on vacation.
This is the third straight year of growing RV sales in the U.S. The main reason is a family of four can save 60% if they travel by RV for vacation. LeBlanc says the cost savings increase when financing, some RV can be financed for up to 15 years.
Diana LeBlanc who is also President of PPL Motor Homes says taking an RV on vacation is not roughing it anymore. Many RVs carry amenities some homes don't.
