Car shell ordered down
It’s said to be the first Mini Cooper to hang on the side of a U.S. building, but so far it’s not going well. The city of Houston wants the 350 pound shell taken down.

The advertising ploy is said to be common overseas but new to the United States. ‘Internum and Design’ company had the car mounted last year, but the city has since issued citations saying it unsafe. Barricades were also ordered underneath the structure on the sidewalk.
But, not all agree. Resident Doug Israel say, “ I just think the city of Houston has other more pressing things to worry about. “
