Police: Found walking along a county road
Missing Ashley Collard, the subject of a wide search involving nearly 200 volunteers and law enforcement personnel has reportedly been found walking down a Galveston County road near Santa Fe according to the Galveston County Sheriff's Office.
More than 130 volunteers were searching Sunday, including teams from the search and rescue groups TEXSAR, SARQuest and Texas Equusearch, along with the Santa Fe Fire Department, Galveston County Sheriff's Office, Galveston County Emergency Management and The Salvation Army, Santa Fe Police and deputies from Constable Jimmy Fullens office in Santa Fe.
Volunteers spent 1,600 man-hours searching a 10-square-mile area Sunday. The search involved personnel on foot, horseback, ATV's and helicopters.
