Authorities still searching for suspect
Authorities are searching for a driver accused of taking off after colliding with a Houston police patrol car in a wreck that caused minor injuries to the officer.
A police spokesman says the officer was responding to an "assault in progress'' early Tuesday morning with her lights and sirens on when a driver failed to yield as she approached an intersection.
The spokesman tells the KTRH that the driver kept on driving for about three blocks before stopping and running away.
Investigators are still investigating and searching for the driver.
