Two people dead in NW Harris County
Two people are found dead inside an apartment at the Ashton Wood complex, following a SWAT standoff.
Deputies say a man barricaded himself inside the unit when they tried to serve a mental health warrant. During the ensuing standoff, several gunshots were heard from inside. When police entered, they found the two bodies.
While neither person has been identified, investigators believe they are the suspect and his mother.
