A former marine held in a Mexican prison may soon be released. The mother of Jon Hammar tells Fox News that her son, who has been held since taking a vintage shotgun across the border, will be back in the U.S. soon.
A judge heard the case and ruled in favor of Hammar and ordered his release. The Mexican government has been under pressure to release the U.S. citizen.
Several lawmakers were calling for boycotts of travel south of the border in protest to his inprisonment.
